We ordered a replacement Gaggia Classic coffee machine online from Coffeeteca. We'd had our previous Gaggia Classic for 12 years and used it every day. When it broke down we decided to replace it with another. The new machine arrived within a few days and we were excited to try it out. Sadly it appears to be faulty. It is SO INCREDIBLY noisy we have had to wear builder's earmuffs when using it. Plus it's impossible to get the milk to froth. We called Coffeeteca later that day, but they would not accept that there could be anything wrong with the machine, and told us we needed to learn how to use it — this is despite this being an updated version of the same brand of machine we had owned and used daily for 12 years! They had no explanation for the noise at all. We are now hoping that Gaggia can help us and that the machine can be fixed while it's still under warranty. Sadly the closest service centre is located two hours' drive away, so it will have to wait... Not happy!
