You are required to inspect your delivery for damage within 24 hours. Our 72" base cabinet and marble counter top came shrink-wrapped on a pallet--several hundred pounds between the two items. I noticed damage to the cabinet box and carefully cut away some of the cardboard and Styrofoam to find the back panel of the cabinet crack. Since it was the back panel and had to be removed and modified to accommodate the plumbing, Vanities Depot would not correct the problem. Several months later the several hundred pound 72" marble top was unpacked to find it was cracked all the way through. There was no visible damage to the box. VD would not replace or even give me a discount on a replacement since it was 4 months since the shipment arrived. Their policy is they expect you to unpack and inspect the items within 24 hours. Be prepared to remove all packing materials and then store your exposed order to damage until you or your contractor is prepared to install the pieces. Very impractical process and overall I had the sense that they use this 24 hour policy to make it your problem.
