I found the quote online and was directed to the company to speak to staff to complete the insurance cover process.
Once I made the payment and everything was completed I was told I would receive an email confirmation with in 10 minutes. I waited until the following day and did not receive anything. I called to speak to an adviser explaining I did not receive a confirmation and wanted it to be sent with policy documents. She did send some documents however what she sent did not have clearly written what my policy included as it is necessary to have it as reference to what we agreed. She said the policy booklet is online and can be found there. Which i could not as the website is not clear.
I again contacted another staff via online chat telling them i could not see it on the website and for it to be sent to me clearly stating it covers what I had agreed for it to cover. She then told me that my policy does not cover what I was told it would but only motor insurance. I have a print screen attached of the quote I received.
She said she would listen to the conversation I had with her colleague and get in contact again. Still have not been contacted in any way.
Things I have requested should be easily dealt by an insurance company as these are what customers request anyway and there was nothing unusual.
I do not expect to be sold something which I have agreed and paid full amount and the been told it does not cover what I was told in the first place.
I should not be having to deal with these issues.
Please follow up and resolve the issue.
