I purchased an item from a Victorian company who sent a faulty product and refused to refund. Consumer Affairs Vic has no active investigators or compliance teams, and they are a waste of time, make you do all the paperwork, and then refer non compliance to the Tribunal which body has a wait list years long. My advice: DONT BUY ANYTHING from Victoria or victorian companies online or in person. You rely on luck or the good graces of the outfit you buy from and are assured total waste of money if you are unlucky and get a faulty product. Because CA Vic are useless, like its entire public service and the idiots called politicians. Be warned.
