Excellent delivery service up to time etc. Food arrived at the point of beginning to defrost. The ice packs had slipped down the sides and food was not as closely insulated as expected. Put into freezer rapidly. Defrosted thoroughly: into fridge the day before and defrosted in kitchen overnight. Cooked in 2 Oven Aga according to online instructions for 5kg weight. The Aga was up to temperature and other foods were cooking normally. However this was too short a time and I had quite a panicky time trying to rescue the situation while everyone was already at table. There was blood oozing from centre and all juices were pink. Ended up slicing the item across the middle and microwaving half for 2 + 1 minutes. Put other half back in top oven of Aga for 40 minutes. That part is still to be eaten but came out lovely and brown surrounded by the right looking juices. The family still enjoyed the 3 bird roast; but I now wish that I had had an (expensive) trial run before the day.
