Returned them to Cotswold Outdoor to be told that they were dirty so coudn't be assessed We are unable to accept products in such conditions on hygiene and health and safety grounds. For goodness sake, how utterly feeble an excuse is that? 'As the boots have been returned in a dirty condition, we cannot conclude that there is a genuine manufacturing defect. We are therefore unable to offer a free-of-charge replacement or credit.'
