We purchased a logo design and website from this company. At the time of purchase, I was informed that I was purchasing all that was needed to effectively run my website as well as have the domain name registered and the website hosted by the company. Every few months or so since having the website designed the company demands more money for additions or services that are needed to keep us compliant or keep our website up and running. We were never informed that there would be any additional services required or further money needed once our initial contract was signed with this company. After doing some research, I decided to have the domain name and website transferred over to me and no longer use this company as a host. As I have already purchased the domain name and website I requested that both be transferred over to my ownership willing to take the loss of the contract for five years of hosting and be done. The company shut down my website, claiming that it was not meeting compliance for the disability act, and that due to the fact that the website was not live they were unable to transfer ownership over to me. They’re refusing to start the process of transferring ownership until I pay them thousands of dollars more to bring the website up to compliance with the disability act. At this time, I no longer trust this company and I’m not willing to pay any more money to them. It has been made obvious to me that they are structured to take advantage of people uneducated in field.
