I bough a Cricut Explore Air 2 in August 2022 and it gave me problems from the first day I had it. They had to replace my machine and send me a new one. It didn’t cut faux leather or anything except paper the way it was supposes to or as it was advertised. I have spent so much money on new cutting boards and blades just to find out that the Explore air 2 according to the Cricut operator that helped me have manufacturing problems and that they get numerous complaints about this machine. If you are lucky enough that your machine is still under warranty, they replace it but after that warranty they tell you to buy a new machine. That is just mind blowing! Have I known this I would have never bought a Cricut.
Today my machine had a solid red light that came on and my machine is not working. I called the customer care number and followed all the instructions they gave me. to try and help find the problem. My machine is not under warranty anymore so I asked if I could send it to a repair center and pay to fix it. The operator told me there is no repair center that I can send it to and with this problem with my machine there is nothing they can do for me. I must now buy a new machine and if that one brakes when my warranty is no longer active, I can then throw that one away two because like he said there are no repair centers? I’m so upset because i can not afford to buy another one and if I do buy the better or bigger one and that one breaks again then they can not fix it? I feel so upset and disappointed. I loved the machine when it didn’t give me problems and there is no guaranty that this won’t happen again if I buy a new one! I have lost my faith in any Cricut and would just like to at least help someone else not to go thru this again. So much money and time wasted. I just wish I knew this before I bough this machine.
The operator said they cant help me and I can throw away my machine and buy another one and if that one breaks two then I can throw that one away as well because they don't have repair centers in South-Africa.
