Before Curology I was using this awful drugstore face wash that did nothing for my skin. I have been struggling with acne all of my life, not cystic but enough to damper my self esteem as a preteen well into adulthood. After trying too many washes I landed on one that controlled my acne more than the others but had its downsides. This specific wash I had been using was incredibly drying and made my skin feel too tight. After getting new navy colored towels, the face wash bleached them when drying my face! What did this mean it was doing to my skin?! I decided to throw it in the trash and look for something new and safe for my skin. Curology ads had been popping up all over my social media, one of my coworkers also raved about the products. After debating for a day or two I gave in and went online to check out the website. The process was quick and I enjoyed the personalized approach with the quiz. My NP was very kind when I messaged her with concerns and made me feel confident with the journey to come. I decided to get the face wash and the moisturizer along with the nightly treatment after reading some reviews. Plus, I was a little nervous about having a reaction with my skin and mixing the new products/ ingredients I was already exposing it to.The facial wash is very light yet enough to remove daily grime and makeup, the lotion was on the gel like almost liquid side but so great. My night cream contained 3 ingredients with surprisingly low percentages. I was used to a long list of ingredients I couldn't pronounce PLUS ten percent benzoyl peroxide. Fortunately, I did not go through the dreaded transition week; my skin was thankful to be rid of all of the chemicals. Being the skeptical person I am I have waited months to write a review. I can confidently say now that my skin has never felt this soft or been this clear. And I mean legit clear, no big zits or hormonal breakouts for MONTHS. I will say I still have black heads but I do not exfoliate enough so no fault of the product. This stuff works and I tell everyone about it when they ask what I use. Thank you, Curology.
