Enthusiastic is probably the best word that describes their energy in every message exchange. And the ring… well, let me tell you about my ring. My fiancé and I had her engagement ring designed and made by CustomMade. She wanted something unique, but not the “unique” you get at the “small, boutique” engagement ring stores (like the one in Georgetown). She worked with the artist and designer to create something that nobody else will ever have, something even that few other designs even look like. Her ring is beautiful. Two moon shaped moissanites split by a row of citrines, her favorite color. CustomMade offered to personalize in some meaningful way. When she surprised me with the little trees on her ring that represented our walks in the woods and vacation in the California redwoods, I immediately wanted my own ring to complement it. So that’s what they helped me design. I said, “a design to compliment hers, with trees and small stones for a starry sky.” I love looking at it now, knowing that there’s only one, that it’s different than every other men’s ring… and it reminds me of our walks and how we got here.
