Before booking my shoot I had read a lot of posts with warnings about test shoots and to not buy a portfolio but having done more research about Date Style they sounded a lot more trustworthy than other companies. It turned out my research was well founded. They were really up front with me about the fact that I would be offered the chance to buy pictures if I was successful but it wasn’t compulsory and my report would still go back to the platform. I had many conversations on the phone with them before the shoot and shared with them my concern about portfolios and they were honest and said there are many models who do not need to buy a portfolio but is only High end stuff, which most, including myself, are not. I was successful in my test which I was really excited about and on seeing the pictures and quality of the shots I decided to take a small portfolio and has launched me into the world of modelling, I’ve signed to 4 different agencies! (as well as rejected from 3 Lol!)
