Firstly, upon walking in, I noticed there was no way to distinguish between the public who were already there and those who were single. No way to tell who was who even though there was supposed to be about 50 of us who had paid to attend the event. Secondly, upon arrival there was a table (big enough for 10 people max) - I asked if the event was held here as I thought I had the wrong venue. I was told yes, and that I was the first one even though the email said I would have to be there 15-30 minutes early otherwise may be refused entry. There was no one until close to 8pm. Furthermore, no one checked my ID or ticket. And I’m am certain a large potion of the people who sat down were not single either. There was no structure, I could have walked in for free and joined myself, and the ticket prices were fluctuation every 5 minutes. This was one of the worst events I’ve been to and in fact I left in a worse mood than I came there in. Furthermore, I emailed the organiser to relay all of this information, and he somehow tried to gaslight me into saying that 1) I wasn't told to come early (even though I had the screenshot to prove it) 2) Claimed that we couldn't have just walked in and joined for free after paying for a ticket, even though I spoke to about 7 people and not one of their tickets was checked. A bridal party at one point appeared amongst us. Aside from them there was no way to tell who was single and who wasn't. 0/10 asked for a refund and was offered a free ticket to their next event which you couldn't pay me to go to
