The clean flavor and coolness of the vapor is definitely superior to my other vaporizer, a PAX. I think you should allow more time before you signal that the session is ready to start. The oven may have reached temperature, but the vapor doesn't kick in for awhile longer. This is not a show stopper, I am willing to wait just a tad longer before I start inhaling. Any new cannabis I buy always gets it's first taste on the davinci, it's my gold standard for determine the quality of what I bought.
