The 3k carbon weave helps insulate the device in a way the aluminum shell never seemed to be able to in the past. The red LEDs and accents along with the carbon fiber pattern give the aesthetics an almost sith-like appearance, eliciting the feeling of ULTIMATE POWA! I've only used the device for a few days, but the hydrotube is a smooth and pleasant experience, and does well to minimize incidental splashes of water that could reach the mouth-piece during movement or use. I'm primarily an herb vaper, so using the provided grinder, I filled the chamber along with a large glass spacer to get a denser small pack, and it was a pleasant and easy experience from there. All Davinci products that I own have been a dream to use-- and use them, I do --so it should be no surprise that I recommend them to friends any chance that I get.
