The order was placed on-line for freesias in bud form so the recipient could enjoy seeing them opening and that they would last as long as possible. The delivery was two days later than had been informed when ordering. Appreciated this was not the fault of Debenhams (they had been dispatched quickly) but Royal Mail were very slow. This was critical to the state of the flowers when delivered - 75% of them were already open but they were well packed and in good condition.
