I was a Debenhams customer for decades as was my mother and many of my friends. I used to buy all my Dorma bedding from them, perfume gift sets at Xmas and hundreds of pounds worth of vouchers for Xmas presents. Xmas and Debenhams went hand in hand for me. However, they changed their policy on customer service and, in my opinion, nobody with any sense would shop online with them as they take payment and don't deliver the goods you have ordered. Also known as fraud. I'm saddened that the stores are closing down but what did they expect would happen when they alienate their customers. I see that their customer service employees, based abroad, are writing reviews on here trying to pull the wool over people's eyes but guess what guys, you've been so dismissive of us the shoppers, you've lost a lot of business and in turn you'll be out of work too. The Customer is King and that should always be borne in mind.
