Shopping in store at decathlon is fine and the quality and price are good.
The online shopping experience is almost laughable due to the way they are set-up. The order was made and a delivery date set. The order has now been procesding for 5 days and still hasn't left the warehouse. As I wanted to take the items away I've asked for a cancellation so I can just go buy the items from local shops (even though it's more expensive I need these things for monday). So I've sent emails made phone calls and gone through online chat. No one knows why the items haven't been sent. Because of their system they cant cancel the order despite it not having been sent yet or get me weekend delivery. The outcome is for me to not accept the delivery whenever it arrives (no one can tell me when it'll leave the warehouse and I wont be here for delivery anyway.). Then they will refund me at 3-5 days in the future, it's a large order so I dont really have the extra money to buy everything again locally whilst waiting for the refund.
Essentially dont believe the delivery dates online even if it says the items are in stock. Even if you get it as click and collect it doesn't change the fact that they have no idea when itll be delivered or dispatched. And then trying to find that information is impossible as no one knows why or where it is.
Really bad experience and terrible customer service.
