I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the Certosa electric recliner 3-seater sofas that I purchased from Delux Deco in February 2020 for £3,100. Despite the considerable investment, these sofas have been plagued with quality issues almost from the beginning. Within the first year, we experienced significant problems with the seat covers. Using the HomeServe insurance package, we replaced one of the seat covers. However, the replacement process was protracted and fraught with issues, particularly regarding color matching, which took almost a year to resolve. During the replacement in 2022, I informed the technician about similar tear markings appearing on another seat. According to the technician, the damage likely resulted from improper manufacturing practices, specifically applying sealant before the color paint spray had thoroughly dried. He ruled out sun damage or misuse as potential causes. Currently, we are facing further deterioration of the sofas, necessitating additional time and financial resources to purchase another set. I have attached pictures to illustrate the poor state of the sofas. Overall, we are extremely disappointed with the quality and durability of these sofas. Considering the significant cost and the relatively short time we have had them, we expected far better longevity and fewer issues. I wanted to bring this matter to your attention and to inform you that I will be sharing my experience through reviews to make potential customers aware of the problems we encountered with our purchase from Delux Deco.
