I am currently in the middle of my third attempt at buying a guitar from DHgate. The first two times the seller provided me with fake tracking numbers; although I was able to get my money back, I spent six weeks waiting on each package that never came. This time I contacted the seller and formed a rapport prior to purchasing. However, despite the extra steps that I have taken, the seller has given my a fake tracking number under the pretext of having had to do so to meet the shipping deadline. According to the seller, the shipping deadline was not met because the guitar is a custom piece. That was 3 weeks ago and still no updated tracking number. Time to start the refund process. I have wasted a total of 4 months with DHgate trying to buy a guitar. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.
