Now, a few weeks post-procedure, I’m excited to share my full experience. From the moment I arrived in Istanbul, everything was exceptionally well-organized. I was warmly greeted at the airport by a professional driver arranged by the clinic and transported directly to a comfortable, modern hotel included as part of the package. The next morning, I enjoyed a healthy breakfast at the hotel — a good mix of fruits, proteins, and lighter options — perfect to prepare for the long day ahead. Right at 7 a.m., I was promptly picked up and taken to the clinic, where the team was already prepared and waiting for me. Preparation of the Recipient Area and Hairline Design: Dr. Demircioğlu personally prepared the recipient area and meticulously designed the new hairline, ensuring it would look natural and suit my facial features. Implantation: The extracted grafts were implanted into the recipient area following the new design. Although Dr. Demircioğlu delegated the extraction and implantation to his highly skilled team, he remained closely involved throughout the procedure. He personally handled the critical part of designing and preparing the recipient area and checked in on me frequently throughout the day to oversee every stage and ensure everything was progressing as planned. Approximately 5000 grafts were transplanted using the Sapphire FUE method. The use of sapphire blades (instead of traditional steel) is known for promoting faster healing and achieving higher density, which was a big factor in choosing this clinic. Post-Op Care and Recovery: Immediately after the surgery I looked in the mirror and I was very pleased with the result. I felt that the procedure turned out better than I expected. Sleeping upright the first few nights was a bit uncomfortable due to swelling (which is completely normal after a hair transplant), but the recovery guidelines were easy to follow.
