We bought 6 Dimplex Quantum storage heaters, a Dimplex bathroom heater and a Dimplex Quantum water cylinder. When they work, they are great but we have had so many problems with them; at least 6 times in less than a year! Although the customer service staff are usually very polite, we have to go through the same process each time ….. report the fault, give them the GDID, serial number, proof of purchase etc (even though Dimplex have all the details on their system?),then wait several days to be given an appointment, often several weeks later. As well as the time spent on the phone each time, we also keep having to take time off work to wait in for an engineer, as a specific time appointment is not given. Meanwhile, we go (partially) without one or two of the heaters that we paid thousands of pounds for! We keep being told that we are just unlucky, and other people don’t have problems with these heaters. We are now discovering, that we are NOT the only ones! We would definitely not recommend Dimplex Products!!
