Me, wife and family have attended Doncaster races for many years but after my daughters experience on St Ledger day this year we will never put another penny their way. Stopped at the gate, asked to undertake a search before they could gain entry which they willingly did. Nothing at all found, no words spoken and then the glorified security staff still wouldn't let them in. I've sent a reasonable amount of emails explaining this and asking them to check the cctv footage but they simply will not accept it. Both were so looking forward to the day with tickets I had purchased for them. Basically the response I get back is about policy which I have read and my daughter and boyfriend abided by their policy but were still refused entry. Someone called Nikki is now not responding to my mails and is Basically calling me and my family liars which makes me sick to my stomach after all these years of supporting this racecourse. I hope whoever reads this thinks twice about risking the same experience!! I whish I could get legal advice to take this matter further but the cost would outweigh the £130+ of wasted money I have already contributed to these con artists
