As someone who has struggled to receive adequate care for my ADHD diagnoses throughout most of my life, finding and beginning care with Done has been a game changer for me. I was skeptical at first just because nothing on this journey to get the help I need has ever been easy. After working with a local psychiatrist in my town and feeling truly unheard and untreated, I decided to give Done a shot. I am so, so glad I did. The initial sign up process was simple and the questionnaire was relevant and not too exhausting to complete. Once completed, I signed up for my first telemedicine appointment with my Psych NP. Again, I didn't really know what to expect, and my hopes weren't terribly high, but I thought it was worth just trying one more time. Oh my gosh, I am SO glad I did. My practitioner, Elizabeth, blew me away. She affirmed and validated my experiences struggling with ADHD, she offered support and cheered me on for continuing trying to get help for this condition that has honestly made my life really hard at times. She was so knowledgable and well read on the specific topic of adults with ADHD - something that was always noticeably lacking in any other general practitioner I ever saw - and she really normalized my whole experience. I have never felt so supported or validated regarding my struggles with ADHD as I did at our first meeting. She was totally open to hearing about past medications I had tried, what had worked and what hadn't worked, and was then also open to hearing my input on what I felt was a good plan moving forward. I felt so respected and like I was actually going to get the help I needed, finally. I have met with her via zoom since this first appointment, and the quality of my experience has remained the same. I am doing so much better now in my daily life as a result of her help. My quality of life has improved drastically, and continues to do so. Done has made this whole process so easy and so shame and hassle free. I am seriously so grateful to this service and to my NP, Elizabeth. I recommend giving it a try to anyone who is feeling like they are struggling and not getting the help they need.
