My parents ordered a water filter of 8.5L for my birthday. This arrived with missing parts. The bolt assembly for the lid.
There is also no parts list, with the paper instructions, something one can get in Ikea.
I then ordered a metal tap and stand. With the metal tap, there is no parts list again, nor an exploded diagram which will state orientation of the washer.
It needed about 2 emails to bring their attention to the relevant points, and no apology for the missing parts.
I am open to improvement however. They need to do better.
