My 10-year-old loves this bat. It took a while to get used to because he's been using Axe bats. It took about 4 to 6 weeks to feel comfortable with a drop-8, 29-inch bat, because it's his first drop-8. When he does not hit the sweet spot, it does sting, but he usually laughs it off. When he does hit the sweet spot, he has a big smile on his face. In a way, it almost feels like a training tool, compared to his two and three-piece bats. He likes the ProXR knob and this is his favorite one-piece bat. It's a good value, affordable, and we would buy it again.
