A short while ago I ordered a couple of proof copies. They were saddle-stiched but had a 'square spine' and lay flat. The paper was of good quality and photographs reproduced well. I would happily have rated them 'very good'.
However, the ten copies that arrived today had no folded square spine and do not lay flat and are inclined to spring open at the centrefold, due no doubt partly to the weight of the paper.
