My procedure was done October 15th 2020. They completed a 3200 FUE DHI procedure for about 3,000 Euro. This was actually my second hair transplant, my first one being an FUT procedure in the United States four years ago. I am now 4 months post-procedure and my results are already looking awesome! Sera was my first point of contact with the clinic. She answered all of my questions and set up the appointment. The clinic uses WhatsApp for messaging and calling from the United States. This was a bit different for me but worked just fine. Initially, the date I wanted was booked, but she was able to pull some strings and get us the date we wanted! :D My wife decided to come with me, so we could have a mini vacation to see some of the sites. I highly recommend staying in Istanbul extra days with a friend / partner if you get the chance. It is a magnificent place. Arriving in Istanbul airport our driver was waiting for us and took us right to the hotel. The hotel was nice, clean, with comfortable beds, and great omelets served at breakfast. They will exchange US dollars to Turkish Lira for taxis and such if needed. The next morning there were 4 others in the van ride to the clinic, two of them from the US! Arriving at the clinic I was very impressed. So many staff members, each friendly and well-dressed. I lost track of how many people I was handed-off to each with a specific operation; welcome, blood draw, medical background, hairline sketch (Dr. Cinik), photographs, payment, haircut, surgery, prescription instructions, and discharge. It was obvious this clinic knows what they are doing, which gave me and my wife full confidence throughout the entire experience. After the procedure we decided to change our flights to leave earlier, so we could spend a night in Paris, and Diyar and Ms. Ecam helped coordinate an earlier follow-up appointment the next morning and was able to make the flight out on time. This clinic is 24/7 which is just incredible. Honestly, there were so many very helpful people, Dr. Cinik has built a fantastic team. The one drawback I had was making the initial $500 deposit payment. The payment gateway they use 3D Secure, my credit card initially declined the transaction, but that was remedied with a call to the bank. Tip: pay cash in person for your remaining balance to avoid a 10% fee. It has been almost two weeks since my procedure and my healing is going so great, I can’t even compare this to my first procedure where I had really bad swelling for over a week and very pink recipient area for months, along with a linear scar that was very painful. After my first week I was confident to go in public and return to work. This procedure has been such a huge success so far already and I am confident this will be my last hair transplant, the density with the DHI method is just so incredible. If you’re worried about going to Turkey, don’t be. It was a way better experience than the consultations I had at clinics forcing FUT in the states and ridiculous prices.
