As a company easy as hgv we’re very helpful at first, offering help to pass test’s and advice throughout the process, with a to help you find work once your test was passed.
Giving me me an estimated time scale of six to eight weeks to complete my cat 2 license.
Once paying £2250 for the full course, it took two weeks to sit my cpc. Once I had finished my 35 hours, it was myself that had to contact them to book my theory test. Unfortunately I failed first time, so I contacted them again, to book a resit, only to be told it would be another three weeks before I could retry.
I passed on the resit, so rang them again to book my practical. It would be another four weeks to actually start.
I then received an email offering insurance, in case I didn’t pass. This would be a payment of £500, to guarantee an early resit if I failed, which I turned down.
Sadly, again I failed first time.
Again, I was told my resit would be another three weeks, unless I paid £320 to get it earlier.
I paid the money, and got a resit 9 days later.
After having an hour or so training, we got to the test centre, to be told that the examiner had phoned in sick, therefore putting it back another week.
Fortunately I passed, so contacted them again in the hope of them getting me started in work, of course, they said, we’ll be in touch before the end of the week.
After hearing nothing for ten days, I called back for an update. I was told they were on with it, and would get back to me in a couple of days.
That was the last contact I had with them.
They never got back to me, but I suppose they were happy with the payments I gave them.
The only good experience throughout the process, were the guys at Meg training.
Especially Mark, he was the only person who got me through my test.
So thanks to him.
