Just had the second flight in a row from Crete to Gatwick cancelled. They made everyone wait for a 2 hour delay at the gate until gone 2am (flight was due to depart at 00:45) only to tell everyone before boarding that the flight would be cancelled due to cabin crew hour restrictions. They would have known this hours before but made everyone wait and then just abandoned everyone at Chania airport with no assistance what so ever. It was the airport staff who had to announce it, no easy jet staff member showed their face at all. Terrible service and I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. They just do not care at all about their customers and the management are clearly highly incompetent. Hundreds of people are now stuck in Crete at 3am with no assistance from the airline and no staff available to speak to. Avoid at all costs.
