They target elderly people. Connect Worldwide get their most data from Easylife, their "sister company" and most of the people called never consented to their data being shared. Many of them are called multiple times even after asking for their data being removed. They changed their script so that Easylife is only mentioned quickly at the end of the script as most Easylife clients would complain about being sold poor quality products, being called constantly by pushy salespeople and being charged for subscriptions they never agreed to.
They push their employees to get sign ups by offering them entries into prize draws if they hit certain targets. Most will work through their breaks to get into the draws. Many will also use immoral tactics to get the clients to agree to their useless, overpriced subscription with a redeemable cash back voucher which they will ever get or never be able to redeem. It is sad to see companies making millions by taking advantage of elderly people and get away with it for years. Avoid Easylife and any Rewards clubs at all cost. Ask the agents their full names and which company they work for and see their reaction. Tell them to remove your data from their system and if the calk back, they have breached GDPR and it could be seen as harassment.
