This review is emotional for me because I have never felt better in my life since working with Sami. I recently turned 38, and I would say I’ve spent the better part of the last 14 years trying to get to the bottom of why I always felt terrible. After many years of testing, misdiagnosis, self-diagnosing, severe diet changes and feeling so misunderstood and unheard, I reached rock bottom and as a last resort sat at my computer and asked God to show me a way forward because I believed He had more for my life than feeling stuck in my body just surviving. I don’t remember what I searched but I thank God he led me to Sami and he gave me the peace I needed to take a leap of faith. Something I loved about her before we even met was her openness on her website and the generous way she shared her knowledge, not gatekeeping the vital research that can help heal so many, and once we chatted I knew this was going to be different. Beyond her incredible knowledge, she is one of the most present, patient and encouraging professionals I’ve encountered. She answers my questions and concerns with empathy and insight and after 6 months of working together I am feeling better than I can ever remember in my life. It sounds kinda crazy, but I truly feel like I have a second chance at life. I’m living the way I always saw other people live- with energy, zest, excitement, and vibrancy- things that felt so out of reach through the fog of my own anxiety, depression, inflammation, gut-infections, OCD, hormonal imbalances, reproductive and fertility issues, perfectionism and debilitating fatigue and brain fog. These things dictated and defined my day-to-day, my goals and plans, my work, and my relationships with friends and family- ultimately my life. I’ve long believed in the power of food to heal and nourish us, but what I didn’t have was the knowledge of which nutrients are best for me and my unique bio-chemistry. That was the piece I’d been missing and that is what I believe has changed everything for me. The progress I’ve seen in 6 short months has blown me away and yet, Sami is telling me its only gonna get better as we continue to evolve my nutrient protocol and expand my diet. I believe she really cares about me having the best chance to live the life I’ve dreamed of and I am forever grateful God has used her wisdom and knowledge to heal me.
