I was looking to buy a windows laptop for my daughter and spent quite a lot of time researching the endless options; screen size, processor, RAM (was warned by a colleague not to buy a Windows 10 machine with anything less than 4GB despite there being plenty of sub £200 laptops with 2GB RAM and Windows 10 pre-installed - the min spec for Windows 10 is 2GB so if that takes up all of your available RAM then it stands to reason that anything else needing memory allocation is going to slow things down). Settled on a model which appears to tick all of the boxes and then entered that model into EBuyer - saved £30 (inc next day delivery) on prices offered by most other reputable retailers.
