Bought a computer and then decided needed a monitor as well. I phoned up and asked which monitor was compatible (Correct cable etc.) for the computer. I was recommended a Dell monitor which when it arrived found it did not have the correct cabling after all. I phoned up again and was told to buy a HDMI to DVID cable, which I did. But this didn't work as a HDMI port is for downstream gaming etc.. So I still had nothing to connect the computer to the monitor. After sorting all this out myself, I phoned up yet again and retold this story and told them what was required, a Display Port to DVID computer port, which they agreed with.
No apology was given until I complained, and no discount given.
Technical support was incompetent.
