My Partner was left in tears regarding a booking with Economy bookings,"Hertz" she had booked through economy bookings a car for 12 days paid with debit card, picked the car up used it, thing was her own car was still in the garage, so she then had to hire another car for 7 days, so went through economy bookings, this time with green motion, she paid for the hire with her debit card no problem, the problem then arises when she goes to the airport to pick her hire car up.
She is told that there is a deposit to be paid and that she will get the deposit back when the car is returned, she said fine, went to pay with her debit card, only to find out that she must pay with a CREDIT CARD, which she does not have, this then resulted in her not being able to pick the hire car up, also no refund as its classed as a no show, she then was left by the customer representative, asking us there anything else i can do for you, so blunt, my partner burst in to tears at the airport left stranded 20 miles from home.
She then approached another representative who said oh yes you can use a debit card but the deposit was £400 and the car hire for one week was £168 if she wanted it, so she had to take it, and no refund for the original transaction, heartless us not the word, we are terribly emotionally upset by this, but they were steadfast about no refund, well they can keep their refund, i won't belittle myself, the customer service was appalling
with basically a human error, and their terms and conditions which they kept blabbing in about, THEY CAN KEEP THEM.
