My husband and I live in a three bedroom bunglow. Our bill for gas and electricity for the month February to March came in at £988 which is more than double what it was this time last year. According to the bill, the reading is an actual one and not an estimate. On the the day the agent supposedly read our meter, we were out and he left a card.
I have been trying to get a response to my emails from Ecotricity and get the standard letter saying they are very busy and I may have to wait up to ten days before they look into the matter. It is almost a month so far.
They went ahead and took the money on Direct Debit and
since reading the reviews that other people have written I think I may have a very long wait before I can get the money they obviously owe, refunded.
I shall certainly change to another provider and in the meantime stop the Direct Debit which no doubt they will find time to contact me about very soon.
