This has to be the worst fuel company in the world! I was paying between £400-£700 per month on a three bedroom house! I kept complaining and every time I complained they put the bill up. I know they owe me money as I switched last year to another green energy company and my monthly bill is £125 per month and I am always in credit with them. How then was I paying Ecotricity the extortionate amount every month and was always in debt? I’ve been with Octopus Energy for a year. I wanted to wait a year to see how the new company managed my account and it’s been such a joy, except for my first month when they billed me £2,000 at the advice of this charlatan company. They quickly rectified this and I haven’t had one dispute with them since. Plus they have been giving all their customers free electricity! Looking at all the other reviews why isn’t OFCOM stepping in as it’s obvious they are corrupt. I will give you an example of their billing practices on the 24th June 2020 my bill was £66.33 and then by 20th November it was £6,504.17! Yep you read it right. Sign up for this company at your peril
