This was our first taste of apartment rental in Edinburgh, usually opting to stay in hotels so we were a little surprised by the deposit request but as soon as we arrived in the apartment it was clear that this was a beautiful felt and a "cut above" the norm. After a friendly welcome from the owner we settled in and found that we really did have everything we needed in the flat, and also right on the doorstep with great delis, restaurants and cafes right outside. Happily, the apartment is just off the main road so we weren't aware of street noise etc. In summary, a great apartment in a great location giving you plenty of opportunity to explore a great city.
