A nice flat and we were welcomed early in the morning by a nice man. We arranged to make the full payment for the month by internet transfer to the owners account. Later that day we received a rude email saying we should pay immediately or have to leave the flat that day. We could not understand this sudden change in behaviour and had not come across it in this context before although we have come across prejudice generally.
The cleaners who came once during the month and once at the end then accused of us "spoiling" the sheets, presumably with body fluids- which was a complete lie. Another cleaner said there was felt tip pen on the children's bedroom sheets which there wasn't and anyway the cleaner had stated the wrong beds as being occupied by the children. This marred the stay as we had kept the place very clean and tidy. I was not sure if the cleaners were trying to use any excuse to keep the deposit of 200 pounds. No spare sheets or towels were supplied except for one in the middle of our stay.
The flat was cute and central.
