We stayed in the flat during August 2011. The flat is spacious with a relatively modern bathroom (although it is quite small) and kitchen. The bathroom seat was broken and when we reported it to the owner it was promptly fixed within the day.
There are little things which could be done to make the flat more welcoming (refresh the carpet in the living room, bedrooms and hallways, higher quality linen and towels).
The flat is very central if you are in Edinburgh for a few days.
