Having already tried other, more basic, bands before, which I wasn't particularly pleased with, I did not expect the ElastiTone bands to be as good as they've turned out to be. They are easy to use, and although I don't know whether or not the resistance ratings are accurate, it makes no difference because the Pro Ultra set I purchased has more than enough resistance for me, and I expect, most other people anyway. The product seems of very good quality and I particularly like the quick switch system and importantly, the safety sleeve. The only thing that remains now is how durable will the bands turn out to be; on that score, only time will tell. The only criticism I have about ElastiTone is not about the product itself but more about the service provided, in particular the postage charge. Living on the Isle of Wight some businesses charge a premium for postage and packing; considering that we are only 10 minutes by Hovercraft from Portsmouth, the fact that Royal mail charges the same as to anywhere else in the UK, and that I've bought items from Ebay, Amazon, and many other retailers without incurring an extra charge, the fact that Elasitone wanted to charge me £15 P&P was a big disappointment. As it happened, I had my bands sent to a relative's address in Nottingham which although saved me £10, did mean that I didn't get my hands on them for over a month which was when my relative next visited.
