My 7 year old loves Ello! He looks forward to reading, which has been a struggle.
It doesn’t follow his voice as well as I wish, it expects him to read faster than he does, and it picks up background noise advancing to the next word(s).
The videos at the end of each book are exciting for him. He does look forward to getting stars but that has fallen short when there are limited options to use the stars on. He gets discouraged when most clothing items are so far out of reach (etc. 1000 points).
