Admittedly, we just started with Ello but I tried everything before this. We did the mouse, the monster - every reading game I could find. We read every day. I’ve read to him since the day he was born. He LOVES being read to but my first born perfectionist is so afraid of messing up that he hates actually reading. Being able to read to Ello instead of a person helps him relax and enjoy it. And Ello helps him when he’s not right - which means it’s way better than reading to his studies. The tangible prizes and sticker charts are a great way for him to see how far he’s come. Ask me again in a month or two, but for right now - Ello is the BEST!
