My rising 1st grader is reading at grade level, maybe even slightly above but he hates to read out loud to other people. So, it’s hard for us to gauge how he’s doing and where he needs help. We’ve only been using Ello for a month, but are really enjoying it. My son actually looks forward to reading and is starting to develop healthy reading habits like creating his own reading corner. If you have a reluctant reader, this is worth a try. My son loves collecting stars as he works his way through the books and towards getting a prize. He also really seems to be enjoying the book choices so far.
