Overalls this is a very good option as a back up machine, we have a type 1 diabetic in the house and as such rely on machines like these. In recent years they’ve become more ‘smart’ and thus a lot more expensive to replace. However this machine functions on a basic set up but does seem to offer accurate results and is lightweight to carry. We like having a spare ‘just in case’ and this is a really good budget friendly option. I’d recommend.
