Ultimately I am reasonably happy with the eventual outcome but it took way too long to resolve everything. I placed my order based on the details on the website telling me that the item was in stock and available for next day delivery. It eventually arrived two weeks later after an email (which was not replied to) and a couple of phone calls. I also appreciate from the conversations I had with the sales team that the item was out of stock with the supplier which caused the delay. I have as yet not received the free cover, oil or caravan converter cable which were advertised as being included with the generator. I have chased these items up today but am not holding my breath. I have obviously already purchased oil anyway to get it up and running. My main grumble is really that if the website was kept up to date then I would have prepared for the longer delivery time or chosen to place the order elsewhere. I was lucky that I had no time pressure for delivery. If I had needed this urgently then I would have been more annoyed.
