My experience resulted in 7 quotes with varying price per watt, equipment selection, warranty durations, and installation benefits / guarantees. The annual production estimates were also wide ranging. EnergySage provided a platform that enabled me to have long message conversations with multiple installers for over a year. When the time came to make a choice I was able to make an appointment to talk to my assigned EnergySage mentor who provided helpful feedback and advice. EnergySage is a good tool, but it could be better. I wish there was more history information about past installations in my area, who installed them, the price, the system size, real world annual production numbers. Also, I would like more installer specific data about the installers to help establish credibility. Also, adding some science based assessment tools to help customers estimate their solar need and proposed system performance would be awesome. Overall, it was a good experience.
