Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs. I only used them because they said they will attend the property immediately, others would be 2 days. ERG's quoted price was £185+vat to shorten a gas pipe, reconnect and leak test. This was almost £100 more than others but I could not wait. ERG actually did not come until late on the 4th day and then charged £477! Criminal but once they have your card details - that is it. The work was fine but it was done by a sub contractor not by ERG staff. It is an organisation full of office staff who do not know what they are doing - they seem to be wholly reliant on sub contractors to deliver the work but they load the cost and grab extra money if they like.
