Got my bank onto investigating these fraudulent thieves today. Had to wait, by banking (visa card) rules, apparently , for 15 days, to begin the process of getting my money back. If you have been scammed by these thieving scumbags, please do not give up trying to get your money back from them. Just heard that they HAVE been shown on "Rogue Traders" before. They should have been shut down a LONG time ago. They sent a "plumber" to replace a leaking pan connector, at the back of our toilet. "Plumber" looked at it & told me "You'll need a new toilet to be fitted" ... "Because the toilet might be fixed down with cement & I don't want to risk breaking it, by trying to move it, to fit a new pan connector." Hmmm ? He took a photo of the toilet & left. No repair done. Got a REAL plumber in , the next day. He easily put his craft knife into the SILICON holding down the toilet pan to the WOODEN floor & told me that the "cement" story was total B*LLSH*T & that the screws holding the pan down to the wooden floor were easily unscrewable. Just needed a new pan connector fitting. ERG's "plumber" clearly preferred payment for "looking at the job" for five minutes & getting paid for doing so, rather than doing any work at at all. ERG ask for your bank / credit card details , on the phone, before they even arrange for somebody to come to your home. I should have, in hindsight, hung up on them before I foolishly agreed to paying a "first hour's labor charge of £155. 3 days later. these scumbags took £186 from my bank account. £186 for knocking on our door & saying that he couldn't do the job. Nice people, ERG ? I'm working hard on minimum wage & these parasites have charged me almost 4 days wages for just knocking on my door. Ironically, the "plumber" (ERG's "tradesmen/women") are sourced locally & the bloke, who told me he had got lost looking for our home, had only travelled TWO miles away from HIS home. When I asked the "plumber" if I would get charged for him NOT doing the job, he said "yes, more than likely" .... & also said that ERG had NOT paid him for the work he'd done for several weeks before & that he was still waiting for them to pay him. Errm, well no surprises there, eh ? AVOID "ERG facilities Ltd" like the plague ! They are cheating, thieving scumbags.
