I do not wish to give even one star. I wish I had read these reviews first but I contacted ERG as we had a blackout last September. They told me I needed a new consumer unit and commissioned an Edinburgh Electrician to do the work. Recently I needed EICR - which failed DUE TO THERE BEING NO ISOLATOR SWITCH FITTED AND ALSO BARE WIRES. ERG refuse to remedy/repair/take responsibility. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They told me that I should have complained within a fortnight. When a so-called expert has done a job why would I check it and how would I know what to check. This has been a truly stressful experience I could have done without. When I first called, the attitude was dismissive and rude.
