I have always looked at Washing Machines with wonder as they are so large and appear to be intricate. I will take little items to pieces to repair them but larger electrical items left me cold. However, when my daughter in law stated that she had problems with her Hotpoint washer in the form of hole in the seal she was considering buying a new one, or getting in a repair man, I looked on the espares site to find the price of a new seal and it was relatively cheap. I also looked at the video of how to do the replacement and it looked quite easy. I suggested that she order one and with the help of my son we would replace it. When it arrived we approached the repair with a bit of trepidation but having the video on his smart phone we just followed it step by step. There were a few sticky moment releasing screws and springs but on the whole it flowed quite well. It took us longer than the 30 minutes suggested but at the end of the day when we tested it not a leak insight. Thank you espares for the video.
